KAT + NICK - OCEAN REEF WEDDING

Kat + Nick had the wedding trifecta: positive attitudes, a genuine and loving family, and a gorgeous affair. Their biggest concern was having a good time, and when weather concerns challenged their day, they responded with ease and positivity. I so enjoyed their light-hearted nature!
With planning by Andi Soirees - a frequent third-party vendor with Ocean Reef Weddings - the day ran smoothly. The couple opted for a classic color palette of whites and greens, yet added a tropical flavor with orchids and giant Monstera leaves.
This nuptial took place at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida under blue skies, but not every wedding is 100% perfection. When 40 mph winds threatened to move their wedding indoors, the couple threw caution to the wind (pardon the pun!), and opted to go with the flow and keep the ceremony with an oceanside view. Fortunately, the results are still stunning, and the pair didn't allow the external elements to get in their way of their fun.
While their wedding was beautiful, it also contained so many lovely personal touches. The Father-of-the-Bride surprised the couple with a Cadillac golf cart decorated with bougainvillea and a custom license plate featuring the couple's name. Kat's cousin officiated the ceremony, and the duo exchanged handwritten vows, but not before playing Rochambeau to see who went first (the bride won!).
To liven up the party, and prepare guests for the reception, a Junkanoo band escorted the crowd from cocktail hour to the reception, and mid-way through the evening, guests were given LED foam wands and custom handkerchiefs displaying the couple's Instagram hashtag #letsgetnati
