MEENA + VARUN - CENTRAL PARK ENGAGEMENT SESSION

I met up with Meena + Varun for an engagement mini-session in Central Park, NYC one winter's day. As you can imagine, it was chilly, but they were troopers.

The couple is planning their wedding with Sonal Shah of SJS Events. For those of you who don't know, Sonal is the master planner of elaborate Southeast Asian weddings. Located in NYC, she plans weddings in Italy, Florida, New Jersey and beyond. Her work has been featured in many major press outlets including NY Times, Party Slate, and South Asian Bride Magazine.

Indian weddings are becoming more and more popular in South Florida. Venues such as the Fountainebleau and The Breakers can easily accommodate weddings of 500+ guests for multi-day festivities, as well as the traditions that are common in Hindu and Sikh weddings such as Sangeet, Mendhi Ceremony, Vara Yatra, Vatna and Gharoli.
