Sofia + Charlton's wedding is a fairy tale that came to life. Born and raised in Miami, the bride moved to South Carolina to pursue her career as a news anchor. Her life would forever change when he luckily met Charlton. As the bride's father humorously narrated his speech, it was obvious that it was true love when she called her dad one day and said, "I really can't find anything wrong with him - he's perfect!"

Combining his Southern and her Cuban roots, they celebrated with a midnight snack of pastelitos, cortaditos, and an Hora Loca while dancing underneath a picturesque Sperry tent set with a piece of southern furniture in a traditional Chinoiserie decor.

Also, everything for their wedding was custom. From the stationery, to shot glasses, to blankets to a custom DJ booth - no detail, big or small, was overlooked! As much as this was a fairy tale wedding for the couple, it was also a one-of-a-kind wedding for me to capture.

This luxurious fete took place at Sofia's childhood home. What's cooler is that she grew up on several acres owned by her extended family, so everyone has a home on the property - including abuela!

This couple is beautiful and lovely inside and out. Sofia was an easy-going bride, and this is the second wedding that I've photographed for their family. I so enjoy joining families as an honorary member for such a special occasion as much as I love photographing the wedding itself.

Lastly, Events by Elle knocked it out of the park once again on this wedding.
