BABY REED

What's better than a sweet newborn baby? Baby Reed is one lucky little guy - not only was he born into a family with a darling big sister, but his parents are also incredibly kind and talented human beings.

 

Jessica and Michael Masi own one of the best event planning companies in Miami, Masi Events. They plan large-scale events at exclusive Miami wedding venues such as Vizcaya Museum + Gardens, The Flagler Museum, The Edition and The Raleigh Hotel - to name a few.

I've had the privilege of working with the Masi's on numerous weddings. Our interactions have included local events at The St. Regis Bal Harbour and Vizcaya, and also further afield, at Mission San Juan Capistrano in California and even on a private Bahamian island! 

 

But enough about weddings, let's get back to the cuteness that is Baby Reed. Reed was named after his father, and now, even has Dad's red hair!

 

Rescue dog Mali joined in on the fun, as did big sister Audrey. While typically a little bribery goes a long way with older siblings, Audrey was a little angel. She was so excited to hold her new baby brother, that that was all the convincing she needed!

When planning your newborn photography session, don't forget to coordinate the baby's blankets and wraps with the surrounding environment - for example the nursery colors or living room furniture. Plan out which rooms you want to use ahead of time, and organize the baby's wardrobe - as well as the family's - around that.
