KAT + NICK
Kat + Nick's wedding had the perfect combination of positive attitudes, a genuine and loving family, and a gorgeous affair. I really enjoyed their light-hearted nature even even if they had concerns about the weather challenging their day, they responded with ease and positivity.
The day ran smoothly with planning done by frequent third-party vendor with Ocean Reef Weddings, Andi Soirees. The couple opted for a a tropical flavor matched with orchids and giant Monstera leaves with classic color palette of whites and greens.
Not every wedding is 100% perfection. The ceremony was held under blue skies at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida with winds of 40 mph that threatened to move their wedding indoors. Still, the couple opted to go with the flow and keep the ceremony with an oceanside view and it was stunning!
Their wedding contained so many lovely personal touches. The Groom's midnight blue tuxedo was custom made, lined with a bright, floral print and embroidered with the pair's wedding date; the Father-of-the-Bride surprised the couple with a Cadillac golf cart decorated with bougainvillea and a custom license plate featuring the couple's name. Kat's cousin officiated the ceremony, and the duo exchanged handwritten vows, but not before playing Rochambeau to see who went first (the bride won!).
A Junkanoo band escorted the crowd to the reception which lit up the party, and as the evening progressed, the guests were given LED foam wands and custom handkerchiefs that has the couple's Instagram hashtag #letsgetnati
