Sara + Julian are two of the sweetest people I've ever met. I had such a sincere and positive working relationship with them - it's one I will always reflect on fondly. We hit it off immediately, and when we discovered our shared love of San Francisco, fate was sealed.

Their wedding was a 400+ person stunner at Fairchild Botanical Gardens - with planning by Events by Elle, florals by Ever After, draping by Celebrations by Kathy, rentals by Unearthed Rentals, and visual prowess brought by the bride's mother, Sisi.

But more on the big day later. Let's get back to their engagement session. When we toyed with the idea of shooting their engagement session in San Francisco, we didn't need much convincing; however, we did need the stars to align in the travel department. Sara + Julian were flying in from NYC, and I from Miami. By chance, Sara had a business trip planned at the same time I had a personal trip to the West Coast. It was meant to be!

We spent a few short hours roaming photographing the couple in front of their old apartment in Russian Hill, followed by the Palace of Fine Arts, and finally Land's End.

This was a session and an experience I will never forget!
